About

Dr. Knudson has a BSE in Biomedical Engineering, a MD, and a PhD in Physiology and Biophysics, all from the University of Iowa.  He did his residency in Clinical Pathology at Washington University in St Louis. He is a professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, and is the Medical Director of the DeGowin blood bank and donor center at UIHC. His family includes his wife, Beth Rydstrom Knudson, and daughters Ashley and Lauren. His hobbies include cooking, biking, golfing, and attending sporting events, including the Iowa Heartlanders.
