City election candidates host open house

Meet the three candidates on the ballot for the upcoming Coralville city election. Mayor John Lundell, City Council member Jill Dodds, and City Council member Mitch Gross, incumbents, are running unopposed for re-election. And don't forget to change those batteries!

Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend (remember to "fall back" one hour at 2:00 am on Sunday). When you change your clocks, remember to replace the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors!

The office of Mayor and two City Council positions are on the ballot for the upcoming Coralville city election.  Early voting is available at the Johnson County Auditor’s Office weekdays through November 2. On November 3, registered voters must vote at their polling place. Learn more

What’s Open, What’s Closed on Veterans Day

Free bus rides for veterans

Wednesday, November 11

In honor of Veterans Day, City offices and the Library will be closed. Trash and recycling pickup will be one day later than usual for Wednesday and Thursday routes.
On Veterans Day, Coralville Transit will run normal routes and schedules. Veterans can ride Coralville Transit for free, and eligible veterans can ride ADA paratransit service for free.  Veterans should show a military ID when boarding the bus.  Learn more

Proposed I-380/West Forevergreen Road Interchange

Iowa DOT to host informational meeting

Wednesday, November 18 | 5:00-6:30 pm

The Iowa DOT will host a public meeting at the North Liberty Recreation Center to discuss the proposed interchange at West Forevergreen Road and Interstate 380 near North Liberty. This includes proposed improvements along West Forevergreen Road from Jasper Avenue Northwest east to Highway 965.  Learn more
