Grab a bowl of chili at the Fire Department's annual chili supper (there's an option for vegetarians, too). This year's dinner is at Station #2.

Build a Greener, Sustainable Lawn

Your Best Lawn program helps homeowners with soil quality restoration costs

Would you like to grow a greener lawn with fewer chemicals? Coralville is offering homeowners reimbursement for 50% of the costs, up to $2,000, for soil quality restoration through the Your Best Lawn program to improve soil health and reduce stormwater runoff.

Plus, your neighbors will be green with lawn envy.

Soil quality restoration requires specialized equipment and can only be performed in the spring and fall, and enrollment is required before completing the work. Funding is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Your Best Lawn is a partnership between the cities of Coralville, Iowa City, and North Liberty, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
