2017 Coralville Election

Coralville City Election Results

Terms begin January 1, 2018

On November 7, John A. Lundell was re-elected to the office of Mayor. Meghann Foster, along with incumbents Tom Gill and Laurie Goodrich, were elected to the City Council.

Mayor Lundell and Foster, Gill, and Goodrich will serve with City Council members Jill Dodds and Mitch Gross. Election results are unofficial until they are canvassed by the Johnson County Board of Supervisors.  Learn more

Veterans Day Holiday

What's open, what's closed

Friday, November 10

In observance of Veterans Day, City offices and the Library will be closed on Friday. Coralville Transit will run normal routes and schedules.

Free bus rides for veterans

Saturday, November 11

On Saturday, veterans and eligible veterans using ADA paratransit can ride Coralville Transit for free; veterans should show a military ID when boarding the bus.

Southbound Lanes Shift on 1st Avenue

Sidewalk on west side of 1st Avenue is closed

Southbound 1st Avenue lanes are temporarily shifted from south of 5th Street to the Clear Creek Bridge due to construction of Riverview Plaza along the west side of 1st Avenue.

Bicyclists and pedestrians need to use the sidewalk along the east side of 1st Avenue from 5th Street to the Clear Creek bridge. There is a pedestrian underpass at the 1st Avenue bridge over Clear Creek. Learn more
