National Disability Voter Registration Drive

Thursday, July 20 | 10:00 am-1:00 pm

Coralville Public Library and Access 2 Independence are hosting a voter registration drive at the library for National Disability Voter Registration Week. It's part of the REV UP campaign, which aims to get more people with disabilities registered to vote and engages the media and candidates for public office on disability issues. Learn more

Battle of the Badges

A friendly competition aims to save lives

Thursday, July 27 | 2:00-7:00 pm

Donate blood on behalf of either the Coralville Police or Fire Department at the annual “Battle of the Badges” blood drive. This is a friendly competition to see which department can get the most blood donations and save the most lives. Held at the Coralville Public Library and hosted by the DeGowin Blood Center. National Night Out

Hello, Neighbor!

Host a neighborhood block party on August 1

Host a block party and connect with neighbors during National Night Out on Tuesday evening, August 1. It’s a great night to meet those who live nearby and build neighborhood ties. Guests from the Coralville Police and Fire Departments and City Council will stop by as many registered parties as they can to say hello. Learn more

We’d like to know how you use Coralville trails, where you’d like to go on trails, and where there are gaps and barriers to trail riding. Trail users are encouraged to complete a survey to help Coralville update our Comprehensive Trail Plan. Survey will be open until August 6. Learn more

Iowa City New Horizons Band Summer Concert

Monday, July 24 | 7:00 pm

Since 1995, this band has provided opportunities for “chronologically gifted” adults to learn to play a musical instrument. 

An Evening with NYC's Emily Schoen

Tuesday, July 25 | 7:30 pm

Part of the Open Doors Dance Festival. Schoen guides the audience through her choreography process with lecture, demonstration, and audience participation.
