Date Change for City Council Meeting

No meeting during spring break week

A special City Council meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 7 at 6:30 pm at Coralville City Hall. The special meeting is in place of the March 14 regular Coralville City Council meeting, which has been cancelled. Learn more


Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries

Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 12

The start of Daylight Saving Time is near: "spring forward" and set your clocks ahead one hour at 2:00 am on Sunday, March 12. When you change your clocks, remember to replace the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

Prep now, pick up begins soon

Yard waste pick up starts in late March, weather permitting, on your regular garbage collection day. For those eager to get an early start on yard work before pick up begins, annual yard waste stickers (to place on your own 33-gallon container) and biodegradable Coralville yard waste bags are on sale now. Learn more

4thFest Basket Auction

Saturday, April 8 | 4:30 pm

This annual fundraiser for Coralville 4thFest features a variety of items up for bid, including baskets filled with specialty items donated by area businesses and individuals. The event is free and open to the public. Learn more

City-Wide Garage Sale

Garage sale registration deadline is April 26

It’s not too early to start planning for Coralville's city-wide garage sale on Saturday, May 6. Sign up, host a sale, and Coralville Parks and Recreation will help spread the word. Participating garage sales should register by April 26. Learn more

The library stacks are transformed into “caddystacks” at this 18-hole mini-golf course inside the library. There’s also a toddler course, photo booth, raffle, and popcorn! Regular library services will be suspended for the day. Learn more
