Let's Eat Together

Free community meal connects neighbors

Friday, February 10 | 5:30-7:30 pm 

Food has a great way of connecting people. Enjoy a free meal with community members and neighbors at the Coralville Recreation Center, sample recipes, and learn about community resources and projects. Kids will enjoy the bounce house, games, and crafts.  Sponsored by the Coralville Community Food Pantry, Coralville United Methodist Church, and Coralville Parks and Recreation. Learn more

Lt. Shane Kron Named Interim Police Chief

Coralville Police Lt. Shane Kron has been appointed interim police chief effective February 1, following Chief Barry Bedford’s retirement at the end of January.
Kron will serve as interim police chief until a permanent chief begins. Appointment of a permanent police chief by City Administrator Kelly Hayworth, subject to approval of the City Council, is expected at the City Council meeting on February 14. Learn more

Public hearing for proposed budget 

A public hearing for the proposed budget for the City’s next fiscal year will be Tuesday, February 14 at 6:30 pm in City Hall at the City Council meeting.

Free Beginning English Class for Foreign-Born Adults

Friday mornings

Registration for this beginning-level class starts Friday, February 3 from 9:30-10:30 am. Regular classes will continue on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:00 am beginning February 10. Learn more

WARM Game Night for Grownups!

Wednesday, February 15 | 6:30-8:30 pm

Adults of all ages are invited. Bring your own games or play some of ours and enjoy free refreshments in a relaxed atmosphere. Learn more
