Halloween trick or treating in Coralville is from 5:30 to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 31. From big goblins to little pumpkins, all trick or treaters should be with a supervising adult.

Yard waste bags and sticker

Are your leaves falling?

Pick up biodegradable yard waste bags for $1 each at Coralville Hy-Vee, Lowe’s, Theisen’s, and City Hall. Annual yard waste stickers can be purchased for $25 at City Hall. Or, skip raking and mulch or compost leaves to feed your lawn or garden naturally!

Yard waste collection runs through November 30 or the first snowfall, whichever comes first. Learn more

Oak Hill Cemetery

Fall Cleanup at Oak Hill Cemetery

Staff will soon begin the annual fall cleanup in all sections of Oak Hill Cemetery. If you have loved ones in the cemetery, please remove floral arrangements or decorations you wish to keep before November 1.

In the south and southwest sections of the cemetery, staff will remove flowers and shrubs from plots to prepare for perpetual care projects. Learn more

It’s a haunting good time at Coralville Parks and Recreation's "Horrorville" with a weekend of tricks and treats! Put on a costume for games and Hotel Transylvania in S.T. Morrison Park on Friday night, and join in the Family Fun Run on Saturday night!

It's that time of year again! Come out to Fire Station #1, where firefighters will serve some of the best chili in town. All proceeds go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Miracle Burn Camp. Learn more
