Do you have storm debris?

What to do with branches after the storm

The City will collect storm-damaged branches and limbs from residential properties at no charge on Thursday and Friday, July 7 and 8; and Monday and Tuesday, July 11 and 12. Tree branches and limbs should be no greater than 6 inches in diameter and placed at the curb for pickup; please do not block the road or stormwater drains. Learn more

Construction news

Pavement Repair on 8th Street

From July 11 until mid-August, a small section of 8th Street near the Recreation Center and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will be closed for pavement repairs. The driveway to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will remain accessible from 8th Street west of the work zone, and the Recreation Center main parking lot entrance will remain accessible from 8th Street east of the work zone. Battle of the Badges

“Battle of the Badges” Returns

Police & fire departments rally blood donors

Thursday, July 28  |  2:00-7:00 pm

Donate blood on behalf of either the Coralville Police or Fire Department at City Hall for the “Battle of the Badges” blood drive. This friendly competition to see which department can get the most blood donations and save the most lives is hosted by the DeGowin Blood Center. Learn more

National Night Out

Hello, Neighbor!

Host a neighborhood block party on August 2

Residents are invited to host block parties and connect with their neighbors during National Night Out on Tuesday evening, August 2. It’s a great night to meet those who live nearby and build neighborhood ties. Guests from the Coralville Police and Fire Departments and City Council might stop registered parties by to say hello!
