Mayor's Clean Up WeekKick it to the curbOctober 4-8Do you have a big, broken item too large to fit in your trash cart? If you have Coralville city trash service, set it at the curb for free pickup on your trash day during Mayor's Clean Up Week. Some restrictions apply: - Size & weight: Must be reasonably lifted by two people and fit in the garbage truck.
- What: Check the guidelines. Some items we won't take (like construction materials and hazardous waste) or are picked up by appointment (like tires, electronics, and appliances).
- Trash only: Don't send items to the landfill that someone else could use. Instead, donate them to an area agency to help someone in our community.
