No Shave November Grows on Police

Stubble for a good cause

There’s a reason why some folks in the Coralville Police Department are sporting five o’clock shadows or wearing lavender lately: during No-Shave November, they’re supporting their fellow officers in Iowa City and local citizens facing a battle with cancer. Donations benefit the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at UIHC. Learn more

How to Recycle Holiday Lights

Drop-off sites open November 21

If you have old, burned out, or unwanted holiday lights, don’t trash them – recycle them instead!  Drop off strings of lights at any of the City’s five holiday light recycling locations beginning November 21.  Learn more

Discuss I-380/West Forevergreen Road Interchange

Iowa DOT hosts public meeting

Wednesday, November 18 | 5:00-6:30 pm

The Iowa Department of Transportation will host a public meeting at the North Liberty Recreation Center to discuss the proposed interchange at West Forevergreen Road and Interstate 380 near North Liberty. This includes proposed improvements along West Forevergreen Road from Jasper Avenue Northwest east to Highway 965. Learn more
