City Administrator Kelly Hayworth and Finance Officer Terry Kaeding have reviewed budget requests from all City departments for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011. Kaeding and Hayworth estimated the revenues for all funds for the fiscal year based on property taxable valuation from the county and user fees.

The proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2011 was presented to the City Council in January 12. The City Council will continue to discuss the proposed budget at work sessions in January and February. A public hearing for the proposed budget will be held at 7:00 pm on March 9, and the budget must be filed with the State Auditor by March 15. Budget detail will be available for review at www.coralville.org and on CoralVision channel 5 beginning in late January.
