Coralville 4thFest is now accepting applications for parade entries to participate in Coralville’s annual 4th of July celebration. Decorated floats, guests of honor, community groups, and area businesses will travel the two-mile parade route starting at 10:00 am on July 4 in celebration of Independence Day.
The 2023 Coralville 4thFest parade honors Coralville's 150th anniversary, and celebrates our rich history and bright future. Parade applications are accepted online or by mail, and must be received by June 1. Parade applications are available at www.coralville.org/4thFestParade.
Special parade trophies will be awarded to commemorate this sesquicentennial year. Awards will be given in the following categories: best interpretation of theme, best walking group, most patriotic float, and Grand Marshal’s award.

Coralville’s 4thFest is an Independence Day tradition. This year's lineup includes special events July 1-4 in S.T. Morrision Park in celebration of Coralville's sesquicentennial. The festival includes a picnic, activities in the park, a 4th of July parade, fireworks, a carnival, and entertainment. On July 3rd, 4thFest will host a free outdoor concert in S.T. Morrison Park featuring Voices of Classic Rock; the Beaker Brothers Band will open the show.
