Free event on Monday, April 24, from 5:30-7:00 pm at the Coralville Public Library
Join author Iowa Boy Chuck Offenburger at the Coralville Public Library on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 5:30-7:00 pm for a Coralville RAGBRAI retrospective. He'll share his experiences with RAGBRAI over the years, as well as talk about the history of Coralville's involvement as a RAGBRAI overnight host town.
Coralville is excited to welcome the 50th edition of RAGBRAI as an overnight town on Friday, July 28, 2023. This is Coralville’s sixth time hosting RAGBRAI dating back to 1995, and Coralville is known for being a premier stop for the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa. This year’s RAGBRAI holds extra community significance as Coralville is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2023.
The Coralville RAGBRAI Retrospective event is free, refreshments will be available, and you can take photos with a green screen and props for a true “Coralville RAGBRAI” experience. There will also be an opportunity at the event to express interest in volunteering to help with RAGBRAI in Coralville on Friday, July 28, 2023. Over 900 volunteers will help Coralville RAGBRAI go smoothly, and thousands of riders from all over the world will experience Coralville’s hospitality.
The Coralville Public Library is located at 1401 5th Street; parking is free. Bike parking is available in front of the Library. This event is part of a series of free community events in 2023 to help commemorate Coralville's 150th anniversary. For more information about Coralville RAGBRAI, visit www.coralvilleragbrai.com.
