Knowing your COVID-19 status can prevent you from spreading the virus to those around you. There are two ways to get free COVID-19 test kits:
1) At-Home Rapid Antigen TestsOrder free COVID-19 at-home rapid antigen tests from the federal government at www.COVIDtest.gov; limit four kits per residential address. Tests are mailed via USPS within seven to 12 days. The tests give results within 30 minutes.
2) TestIowa KitPick up free TestIowa COVID-19 test kits from Coralville City Hall and the Coralville Public Library, while supplies last. Limit five kits per household. Results are received by email about 24 hours after the sample is received at the State Hygienic Lab.
At Coralville City Hall, 1512 7th Street, pick up kits just inside the main entrance. Kits are available 7:30 am-5:00 pm weekdays, while supplies last.
At the Coralville Public Library, 1401 5th Street, pick up kits at the main entrance. Kits are available Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am-7:00 pm; Friday 10:00 am-6:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am-4:00 pm; and Sunday 12:00 pm-4:00 pm, while supplies last. Call the Library at 319.248.1850 if you need curbside pickup from your vehicle.
