Coralville City Budget Planning Open to the Public


Coralville’s Fiscal Year 2022 budget covers City operations and projects from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.

All cities in Iowa must pass an additional resolution each budget year establishing their maximum property tax dollars for levy. That resolution (number 2021-14) was passed unanimously by the City Council at its regular meeting at 6:30 pm on February 9, 2021. View the resolution

Learn more about the City’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year at any of the following City Council meetings at Coralville City Hall, 1512 7th Street:

  • Tuesday, February 23, at 6:30 pm: the proposed budget will be presented to the public.
  • Tuesday, March 9, at 6:30 pm: The public hearing for the proposed budget will be held.
  • Tuesday, March 23, at 6:30 pm: The City Council will vote on adopting the budget.

Once approved, the budget will be officially filed with the State and the Johnson County Auditor by March 31, 2021.
