Rent a plot at the Coralville Community Gardens, 900 10th Street, and plant, grow, and harvest your own fresh produce and herbs this summer.
Registration for garden plots opened to Coralville residents on February 24, and non-Coralville residents may register beginning March 2 if any plots are still available. The Coralville Community Gardens feature two different plot sizes as well as accessible raised beds. A 10’ x 30’ plot is $35 for Coralville residents and $43.75 for non-residents. A 10’ x 15’ plot is $20 for Coralville residents and $25 for non-residents. There are also 8’ x 4’ accessible, raised beds $10 for Coralville residents and $12.50 for non-residents.
Amenities at the Coralville Community Gardens include water spigots, mulch, a garden waste disposal area, and a community garden tool shed with donated tools and gardening equipment. Gardeners can also sign up to plant a "row for the hungry" and donate fresh produce to the Coralville Community Food Pantry this summer.
