Retirement Reception for Mayor Lundell

The City of Coralville will host a reception to honor Coralville Mayor John Lundell, who will retire when his term ends on December 31, 2021. The reception will be held at Brown Deer Golf Club.
Mayor Lundell is completing his eighth year as Mayor after serving on the Coralville City Council for ten years. Mayor Lundell has lived in Coralville 41 years, and has been active in many aspects of the community.
In addition to his years of service as Mayor and on the Coralville City Council, he served for 20 years on the Coralville Library Board of Trustees and is a retired member of the Coralville Volunteer Fire Department. He was inducted into the Iowa League of Cities Hall of Fame in September 2021.
