Enjoy free hotdogs and hamburgers grilled by the Coralville Fire Department and the Coralville Police Department, along with free chips and water. Food has been generously donated by community partners. Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs; tables and chairs will not be provided.

Free children's activities are provided by the Iowa Children's Museum, and outdoor games provided by Coralville Parks and Recreation. Visit the Coralville Public Library tent in the park to help create a "community chain," which will be displayed in the library rotunda after 4thFest, and sign up for the library's summer reading program for all ages.

Try Lumberjack Camp! At this free, hands-on event for all ages, pro lumberjacks teach the old time skills of log rolling, axe throwing, and x-cut sawing.

The carnival opens at 5:00 pm in the Aquatic Center parking lot next to S.T. Morrison Park. You must purchase carnival tickets to ride the carnival rides, but all other events at the Free 4thFest Feast are free. Carnival tickets are sold at the carnival, or sold until 4:00 pm on July 2 at Coralville City Hall and the Coralville Recreation Center.
