Award-winning writer Mira Jacob will energize you during this new series, Local Libraries LIT (Listen, Initiate, Talk), offered by the public libraries in Coralville, Iowa City, and North Liberty, with the University of Iowa Libraries.

"Mira Jacob is a novelist, memoirist, illustrator, and cultural critic. Born in New Mexico to parents who emigrated from India, she uses her dual-culture background to navigate the ebb and flow of politics and modern culture." - The Tuesday Agency

Make your reservation for $25, or $125 as a VIP supporter who will receive the online program link and a special refreshments package from Brix Cheese Shop and Wine Bar in Iowa City. Proceeds from this provocative series will benefit the local libraries to raise funds for future Local Libraries LIT endeavors. Make reservations at https://icplff.ejoinme.org/local-libraries-LIT.

The goal of Local Libraries LIT is to spark actions to grow thriving communities which shine with diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This event is open to the public.
