Firefighter Residency Program
Did you know that the Coralville Fire Department has a firefighter residency program? Resident firefighters live in one of nine private dorm rooms in Station #1 or Station #2 with minimal charge and serve on the Coralville Fire Department.
This primary intent of the program is to increase the resources to meet the growing needs of the fire department.
Eligibility & Responsibilities
Resident firefighters are individuals who are selected to become members or are currently members of the Coralville Fire Department, and live within one of the nine dorm rooms at Station #1 or Station #2.
Resident firefighters respond to a variety of calls including rescues, structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, and medicals, and must meet the weekly shift requirements.
