Responsibilities
Coralville's Human Resource / Risk Management Manager is responsible for:

  • Developing job descriptions
  • Compiling benefits packages
  • Fulfilling the staffing needs of the City through coordination of the hiring process
  • Overseeing the implementation of all federal, State, and City safety requirements
  • Administering City employment practices, including salary administration, job evaluations, medical programs, and the review of personnel policies
  • Directing labor relations
  • Reviewing and regularly updating  auto and general liability insurance to ensure adequate coverage
  • Performing a variety of other functions that relate directly to the employee workforce of the City
