How Low Do Your Limbs Go?

Do trees or shrubs on your property encroach sidewalks or hang over the curb? City code requires a minimum clearance of 15 feet over streets and 9 feet over sidewalks. If your limbs are due for a trim, check with a tree care professional about the best time of year for pruning. Learn more

Welcome Back, 10th Avenue Drop Box

The homecoming of a familiar mailbox

It’s back! The drive-up U.S. Postal Service mail drop box has been reinstalled at 420 10th Avenue, outside the former Coralville post office location. The collection time is 2:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.

Tickets on Sale for FRYfest Concert

Joan Jett & the Blackhearts | September 4

Tickets are on sale for $15 at www.FRYfest.com, Coralville City Hall, and other sites to see Joan Jett and the Blackhearts in concert September 4 at FRYfest. 

FRYfest is at Coralville’s Iowa River Landing and all events, except the evening concert and the Hawkeye BAGGO Tournament, are free. Learn more 


Sounds of Summer: The Funk Daddies

Thursday, August 20 | 6:30-8:00 pm

It’s a night of free music at Coralville’s Youth Sports Park! Bring lawn chairs or a blanket, pack a picnic or get something from Wagyu Wagon, and enjoy an evening out! Learn more 


Summer Hours at the Aquatic Center

The Coralville Community Aquatic Center is open daily through August 23, and weekends and Labor Day from August 24 through September 7. From August 17-21, weekday hours will end at 7:30 pm due to sunset.  Learn more 


On Stage at the Center for the Performing Arts

Featuring a 20-piece live orchestra, thrilling aerial effects by Fly by Foy of Las Vegas, and a cast of 64 area singers, actors, and dancers, this 1954 Broadway version features Morris Charlap's unforgettable score with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh. Learn more
