How Low Do Your Limbs Go?

Do trees or shrubs on your property encroach sidewalks or hang over the curb? City code requires a minimum clearance of 15 feet over streets and 9 feet over sidewalks.

The Parks Department is inspecting low-hanging limbs in southwest Coralville during the month of February, and property owners will receive a notice if trimming is needed. In addition, staff inspects low-hanging limbs throughout the year on a complaint basis.

If your limbs are due for a trim, now is the time to plan to limb them up. Low limbs
