Understanding the City Budget 

Budget planning is open to the public

Tuesday, January 23 | 6:30 pm

Learn about the proposed City budget for the next fiscal year at a presentation at the City Council meeting on January 23. Join us in person, watch live, catch a rebroadcast, or stream the video later.

Detailed budget information will be in the latest Connection, scheduled to reach Coralville mailboxes in early February. A public hearing for the proposed budget will be on February 13. Budget information

Be in the Know About Snow

Let it snow, let it snow…but please clear your walkways. Remember to shovel your public sidewalks—including curb ramps on the corners—within 24 hours after the snowfall ends.
 
If you need to clear snow at night, remember that the City’s noise control ordinance doesn’t allow “motor-powered, muffler-equipped snow removal equipment” (such as a gas snow blower) between the hours of 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. Snow removal

Winter Adult Reading Month Kicks Off

Thursday, January 25 | 10:30 am-2:00 pm & 4:00-6:00 pm

Join us for cocoa and cookies to kick off Winter Adult Reading Month! Sign up, read three books during February, keep a reading log, and get entered for a chance to win a tablet or gift certificates to a bookstore or New Pioneer Co-op.
