Mayor Jim Fausett

Remembering a Legacy

We are saddened by the passing of Mayor Jim Fausett on Wednesday, May 24. Fausett leaves a legacy as Mayor of Coralville from 1996 through 2013 and an estimated 50 years of involvement in Coralville government, with nearly 40 of those years as a Coralville elected official.

In addition to being a proud father, grandfather, and husband, Jim and his wife Carol devoted tens of thousands of hours to the Coralville community.

Our thoughts are with the Fausett family. Arrangements are pending with Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. Learn more
