Open HousesCoralville, the City of Iowa City, and the University of Iowa will each host a public open house in late January for the community to provide input about the improving public transit systems. A total of three open houses are scheduled:
The possible scenarios presented at the meeting are based on information gathered during an earlier phase of the area transit study.

Learn MoreThe Iowa City Area Transit Study is looking at many aspects for our transit systems. For Coralville, this includes routes, stops, ridership, hours of service, and more. The study also looks at coordination between Coralville Transit, Iowa City Transit, and University of Iowa (CAMBUS). An earlier phase of the area transit study included a “Design Your Own Transit System” survey to gather opinions about which aspects of the transit system are most important, feedback at public meetings about ways to improve local bus service, research, ridership data, and on-board bus surveys.
