Coralville and Johnson County Accepting Applications for Law Enforcement Officers through January 13

The City of Coralville and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office are accepting applications for law enforcement officers through 5:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2020.

Applicants will complete written and physical tests for both agencies on Saturday, January 25, 2020, beginning at 8:30 am (doors open at 8:00 am), with oral interviews in the days following.

Starting pay for Coralville police officers is $51,787 annually plus benefits, including health insurance and paid time off; starting pay for certified officers is up to $65,395 plus benefits. High school diploma required.

Starting pay for full-time deputy sheriffs is $23.92 per hour plus benefits, including paid time off and health insurance. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
