Coralville 4thFest is now accepting applications for vendors and parade entries to participate in Coralville’s annual 4th of July celebration. Coralville’s 4thFest draws thousands of people during the multi-day event. This year’s lineup includes a 4th of July parade, fireworks, carnival, 5K run/walk, and entertainment. On July 3rd, 4thFest will host a free outdoor concert featuring Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and musician Rick Springfield. Kevin Burt, winner of the 2018 International Blues Challenge, will open the show.
Vendors selling food or non-food items can apply to operate in S.T. Morrison Park on July 3 and 4. Vendor applications must be submitted by May 31, and applicants will be contacted after their completed forms are received. Applications are available at www.coralville.org/4thFestvendor.
Applications are also being accepted to participate in Coralville’s 4th of July parade. The parade includes approximately 120 entries each year. Decorated floats, guests of honor, community groups, and area businesses travel the two-mile parade route, celebrating Independence Day. The theme of the 2018 Coralville 4thFest parade is "Coralville, the hub of hospitality." Parade applications are accepted online or by mail, and must be received by June 1. Parade applications are available at www.coralville.org/4thFestparade.
