Join author Jacqueline Briggs Martin and illustrator Claudia McGehee to hear the inspiration behind their book Creekfinding.

Join author Jacqueline Briggs Martin and illustrator Claudia McGehee to hear the inspiration behind their book Creekfinding — a true story of a creek once lost but then found, set in the Driftless region of Iowa. After the program, children can try a variety of art activities, including “Gyotaku,” an ink printing art form developed in Japan. Approximately 1 hour.

A Grades 1-4 Summer Reading Program event.
