4thFest

About 4thFest
Coralville's annual 4th of July celebration is a community tradition that attracts thousands of visitors and residents each year. The multiday event includes a 5K run / walk, entertainment, food, free concerts, a carnival, parade, and fireworks.

A volunteer committee organizes 4thFest, with support from City staff. Financial support from the City of Coralville, sponsors, donations, and a basket auction make the celebration possible.
Celebrate on July 3-5, 2015
Most events are free and take place in S.T. Morrison Park, located in the 1500 block between 7th and 8th streets. Highlights include:
  • A free concert on July 3, with the band to be announced in April.
  • The 4thFest parade, food and activities in the park, and fireworks at dark on July 4.
Accessible Parking
Handicapped parking is available in the Recreation Center main parking lot, as marked.
