Detectives conduct follow-up investigations into the more serious crimes that occur in Coralville. During 2015, 142 viable cases received the attention of the Investigations Division.
Four detectives are assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division of the Coralville Police Department. Three detectives work general criminal investigations, while one detective is assigned full-time to drug investigations with the Johnson County Drug Task Force.
